Paragliding is a frivolous flying sport. In Nepal, Paragliding can be really wonderful. Adventure people will explore some of the heavenly sceneries in earth from air. Paragliding options are available only from Pokhara. Though, there are a lot of options in a hilly country of Nepal, operation has not yet been started to other parts of the country. It starts from Sarangkot, a hill top at northern Pokhara valley at an altitude of 1592 meters. Before paragliding, the panoramic mountain views of Annapurna Range, views of Phewa Lake at the southern belt, and on the very best the sunrise and sunset views are attractions of Sarangkot.

Paragliding flight, taken off from Sarangkot, lands at the northern shore of Phewa Lake. Views of continuous Annapurna Range, Phewa Lake, rice fields, rivers, hills, and the Pokhara city come all at the same time of flight. It’s around 40 minute’s flight. Where are you going?

Day 01: Pokhara, the city of beauties with its natural wealth. The starting point of Paragliding flight is around 20 minutes driving distance, north of downtown Pokhara. Hike to Sarangkot, a hill stop of 1592 meters which accesses you the mountain views of Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu on the north, downhill on your north, you can see the seti river, flowing with its own way to form some gorges, narrow path-outs, on your south lies the famous Phewa Lake, scattered as it always has been. A series of green hills arise just above the Phewa Lake, the world peace stupa can be recognized from here. Pokhara city runs its silent busy hours below you.
