WE ARE
- An experienced group of professionals
- A company with a proven track record
- An organization you can trust

Nepal is a small landlocked country sandwiched between two large countries, China and India. The mighty Himalayas (‘abode of snow’) stand as proud sentinels over this enchanted land. Nepal is a melting pot of different cultures, languages and religions. Its capital, Kathmandu, is home to seven World Heritage Sites and is world famous for the rich art and architecture of a civilization going back centuries. From the snow capped peaks of the high Himalayas to the teeming wildlife of the Terai jungles, Nepal’s amazing diversity in topography and demography within a few miles is something few other countries can match.

Royal Mountain offers tours and treks, with itineraries that last from a few days easy touring, to long and arduous treks, high in the mountains, where you need a good level of fitness and stamina. There is a wide range of what you can do in Nepal. For example, the Nepal Cultural Tour (13 days) provides the opportunity to explore the ancient cities of the Kathmandu Valley,  other tours take you to Pokhara, Chitwan, Tansen, and Lumbini. Or you could opt for a tougher 17 day mountain trek that takes you to Everest Base Camp or up high in the Annapurnas. You might want to trek to the mysterious and isolated Upper Mustang city of Lo Manthang, or climb Imjatse (Island Peak), a trekking peak in the Everest area. Or you might want to take a more leisurely trek in the villages, getting an insight into the culture and traditional village life and visit Ghalegaun, in the foothills of the Annapurnas.

RMT can offer short sightseeing tours in and around Kathmandu; Bandipur, to see traditional village life in this beautiful Newar village on the way to Pokhara; Lumbini, birthplace of the Lord Buddha; and Chitwan, where you can see a wide range of wildlife: tigers, rhino, elephants, hundreds of species of birds and more. The short Valley Rim Trek that goes from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel, Nagarkot, and Bhaktapur (4 days) is particularly recommended for those short of time.
