"What I most liked about Gopal is, that he is a "quiet" person and not one of the guides how pushes you into going out/party etc.

Tibet isn't a place for this and therefore I liked that Gopal stayed "behind" and left us freedom. But I also had to say that even when he was "behind" he always got or sensed everything what was up within the group. He was just great!!! He also managed a critical situation excellently: due to a landslide in the gorge before Zangmou we got stocked in the middle of the night and didn't get any information from the Chinese Road workers.

Therefore we didn't know if we had to stay the night in the car. Gopal found a way over the landslide (bit dangerous) and organized taxis to Zangmou. He did a very good job in this critical situation and also the group was very easy about it. I would definitely recommend Royal Mountain Travel for trip to Tibet."

He is an excellent and skilled guide. He showed a comprehensive knowledge about trails, lodging, mountains and nature. He was very good at estimating the time from where we were at any given time to the next destination. It is very encouraging to know when you will get a rest when you are tired from hours of trekking.Furthermore, he considered our shape and gave good advice on what to do next according to our shape. On top of that he has a fine sense for humour!

The last two weeks we had the opportunity to travel with your company. Included in our package was a driver, the Chitwan experience, a six day hike through the Annapurna area including porter and guide, and a scenic mountain flight. Hereby we want to give big compliments to the Royal Mountain Travel staff as we experienced all of them as very friendly and experts in their respective areas.
We would like to give special thanks to our driver Megh Raj who always was really friendly, drove very, very responsibly and carefully and always was willing to wait for us. After having a Greenline-experience we even valued the driving skills of Megh more as we always felt safe with him. That was unfortunately not the case with our Greenline bus driver who almost crashed multiple times in the bus drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
We would also like to give special thanks to our guide and porter during our Annapurna trek: Jagat Tamang and Pema Tamang. They were very friendly, helpfull, professional, had a lot of expertise about the area and were most importantly just a lot of fun to hike with! Once again the difference became even more apparent when we saw another tourist walking around 'with' his guide (clearly not from Royal Mountain). Either the guide walked way ahead of the lonesome tourist, or he walked way behind him. In either case, definitely not the right way.
Once again we would like to thank you for our unforgettable holiday and we will most certainly recommend you to friends who consider travelling to Nepal.
